Welcome to the landing page for Frenchtown Choirs. Frenchtown has many options for singing! Check out the drop down menu to the left for more specific information for each choir.

Curricular:
7th Grade Choir: open enrollment with 3-4 concerts per year
8th Grade Choir: open enrollment with 3-4 concerts per year
Mixed Choir: High School open enrollment choir with 4-5 concerts per year. Participation as a choir at music festival is required.
Chamber Chorale: Auditions are required. Students earn an honors credit for this class! A lot of work is required and we have up to 10 performances per year. Each student will perform at music festival as part of the choir, and perform either a solo, duet, trio or quartet. Students may also form small ensembles (less than 16 members) to meet this requirement. Private voice lessons are encouraged.

Extra-Curricular:
7th/8th combined honor choir: Auditions are required and we rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-7:45
Advanced Women's Ensemble: 9th/10th  grade women from Chamber Chorale, or auditioned from another music class. Students must be in a performing curricular ensemble to be eligible for this ensemble (band, percussion ensemble, mixed choir)
Varsity Women's Ensemble: 11th/12th grade women from Chamber Chorale, or auditioned from another music class. Students must be in a performing curricular ensemble to be eligible for this ensemble (band, percussion ensemble, mixed choir)
Men of Chamber: Well, this is not a clever name... if you are in Chamber Chorale and male, this is the ensemble for you!
Accidentals: Auditions are required! These are the best 9th-12th grade vocalists in Frenchtown. Typically 8 men and 8 women. We  rehearse Tuesday evenings from 6:15-7:00 and perform many extra concerts, participate in community service activities and collaborate with other area schools for performances.
